Get to Know About us
TaxLifeboat is a nationwide tax resolution resource serving taxpayers and tax professionals.
Behind our website is a team of ex-IRS agents, tax and bankruptcy lawyers, CPA's, Enrolled Agents, other tax professionals and asset protection specialists. In addition, we have financial strategy, systems and decision analysis expertise so you can professionally and affordably resolve your IRS issues.
From the start, our focus has been to create a comprehensive, unbiased resource where you can make informed decisions on how to resolve your tax problem. You're in charge and we stay with you through implementation. The result is a win for you, the taxpayer, a win for tax professionals and even a win for the IRS.
To achieve this goal, we spent seven years assembling and organizing a knowledge base of tax information. Along the way we published a book and software program, Happy About Tax Relief, the Offer in Compromise Solution, created over 4,000 pages of original content, devised 400,000 solution algorithms, applied for five patents, and assembled tax experts to advise you every step of the way.
We are not a "tax mill" that charges thousands in fees. We do not promise to settle your tax debt for "pennies on the dollar" while knowing full well that less than one out of five applicants qualify for this program. Instead, with TaxLifeboat, you pay about two hour's time with most tax attorneys to fully understand your tax issues and possible solutions, select the strategy that fits your situation and goals, and have us create the applications, forms, cover letters and other documents to implement it. Plus, you have a 100%, money-back guarantee.
If you would like to hear more about TaxLifeboat and learn how it started, please give us a call at (800) 440-1740.
TaxLifeboat is dedicated to helping people resolve their tax problems with the IRS. Some history will help you understand how this company came into being.
We set out to create an affordable website that contained the tax knowledge and tools that were once only available to the few and make it accessible to all. After a few years, we realized that we had exceeded our goal and assembled the most comprehensive knowledge base of tax resolution strategies, diagnostic tools, and implementation resources available to date.
In talking with tax professionals across the country, we learned that they wanted to use our tax defense methods with their clients. We, in turn, saw the value that highly skilled tax professionals could provide to our taxpayer clients. So we formed a network of independent advisers plus our own tax experts to help taxpayers select and implement the tax strategy of their choice.
The philosophy is sound, but what about the cost? Many professionals said that our price is too low because "that's where the market is." We politely disagreed. We understand the realities of our customers' lives. Our approach is, if we can help solve your tax problem and give you a fair deal, you'll spread the word. And, if we can't help, you can request a 100% money-back guarantee.
After initially serving only tax professionals, we now assist taxpayers by providing a complete, non-web based service where our tax experts 1) analyze their tax issues and overall situation, 2) fully explain their available options, 3) help them decide which strategy best fits their circumstances and goals, 4) create the necessary applications, cover letters, forms and other documents to implement their strategy, and 5) have tax experts communicate with them throughout the process so they know what's happening and are in control.
Our customers resolve their tax problem, stress goes down and they get on with their lives. Excellent tax professionals get new clients. Our communities and nation become more financially secure. Even the IRS is happy!
